1st day on DATUM sy duk sorg2 je..sbb x sempat jumpe kawan2 mase datang....tp x ape...sbb sy duk seat bwh....jd...dekat dgn pentas dan dpt tgk dan dgr talk dgn agk jelas.....'agak' sbb mate sy masih kabur...blom berkesempatan utk tmbh power spec...
there are 6 architects presenting their on design/philosophy/idea and etc on this day.....i want to share to all of u what their presenting about....but this is only from my understanding and my summarize...
1st presenter are from our country, Malaysia......architect Wee Hii Min-DNA...
His been graduated from Deakin University ya...en.alif.....in 1989....mase ni kite br je umur3thn...haha...
daripada ape yg sy perhatikan...design yg ditonjolkan kebykannye adelah berdasarkan culture dan surrounding....simple, modern...., d material pule nmpk natural...i loved bare concrete actually...w/pn few people rase nmpk buruk...one of his best design yg buatkan sy rase impress adelah Masjid Wan Alwi, Kuching....sbbnye....conceptnye adelah simple...wakaf....(kalo x silap)....menampkkan nilai2 senibina melayu dan kemudiannye mengaplikasikan unsur2 meditasi.....dan..............................sy kagum sbbnye org cine yg kaji dan design masjid...HAHA...
2nd presenter pule adelah Ko Shiou Hee, Singapore
tropical or green design but still look modern. His been trying to preserve d trees....oh it looks so great..feel warm and beautiful.....salah satu design yg beliau tunjukkan adelah sebuah masjid(again!)...konsep drpd kopiah....HAHA...cantik..... unfortunately design ni kalah dlm pertandingan....but lastly beliau apply design yg 'lebeh kurang' pd Christ Methodist Church...kali ni menang.....<---simple concept but great kan!

3rd presenter adelah dr Denmark.
not quite understand(HAHA...biasela~~).....but from d pictures he showed......we know the stories...he keep telling about boomerang.....beliau cube menghasilkan desgn dgn mengmbil nilai2 boomerang...curve...spiral....spinning...etc...jd buildingnye (kebykan interior) adelah dr boomerang yg disusun besilang2......motifnye adelah untuk menampkkan visual contact and people can easily interact which each other...great observation!
4th presenter pule adelah drpd UK,
.....same juge....don't quite understand~~......
menggunakan iconography concept dlm design...
exmple, Yokohama International Port Terminal adelah didesign based on Hakusai Wave...
other than that.....he used pattern / tiles pattern around d building...it's a new thing 4 me....HAHA....bleh buat bangunan bercermin bulat2, kemudian wrap building dgn tiles pattern...nice jgk kan~~
5th presenter dr Jepun....yg ni sy plg suke...HAHA...his crazy and funny ok and d words he used simple and easily to understand....famous with d words 'many many many'.........HAHA....beliau memberikan 5 contoh idea/design.....from d concept until d building completed....mule2 beliau perkenalkan idea 'Nest or Caves?'....haha...ape bezenye?...cube anda pkirkan.....
--->caves bg die....it's not design for people...it's natural(sbb mmg dr alam semulajadikan)...but...people in d caves would be creative...why?...because anything in d cave can be anything....chair, table......ye btol....dan....akhirnye...beliau berperluang mengasilkan house with small size dgn menggunakan wooden block...HAHA....
2nd idea adelah 'between inside or outside'....bring outside to inside....and inside is outside...HAHA...cm konfiuskan...tp sgt kreatif....x sure org ade beli ke x rumah tersebut.....and d 3rd idea adelah 'before city and house'......pernah x anda bayangkan...atas rmh...ade rmh....and d children playing in d roof?...HAHA....beliau tidak main2..tp beliau benar2 merialisasikan...unfortunely...hihi....sampai skrg tiade org beli rmh2 ini.....

4th idea adelah...'house before house' and d last idea tentang library...totally d concept from bookshelves......i don't want to tell more..because all u can read and see here...
